WHAT IS GENTLE SLEEP COACHING?

ARE YOU QUALIFIED TO HELP US?

In addition, my training included classes with experts in many areas including: postpartum depression, pediatric medical conditions including sleep apnea, and sensory processing disorders. HOW DOES IT WORK?

Initially, we will speak for about 15 minutes so I can get a basic understanding of the situation.
We will schedule an initial consultation that is 1-1 1/2 hours.
Mom or dad will complete paperwork, including a history form for the child.
Consultation will include: sleep education, customized plan for your family, and explanation of support
Follow ups begin the morning after sleep coaching begins

HOW OFTEN DO WE TALK?

Most often, we will have 3 or 4 follow ups the week you start and take it from there. Every family is different and I’m flexible. Sometimes, I will speak to a family every day for the first week. I also offer email and text support for “quick questions” that arise.

DOES IT WORK?

Most methods of sleep training work as long as the parents are consistent. Methods such as “cry it out” and “Ferberizing” (timed checks) also work but many parents have trouble being consistent with those methods because there is a lot more crying involved. Gentle Sleep Coaching is indeed, gentle.
